In 2016, Stourbridge was listed as the 10th most expensive place to live outside of the south. The town is surrounded by beautiful countryside, however, is only 13 miles from the second-largest city in the UK, so it’s easy to see why it is so popular. The list below is ranked by an estimate of the average value of properties on each road in DY8.
#10 Norton Road, Stourbridge
The Norton Road in Stourbridge is an extremely popular street to live on Stourbridge. Mainly made up of detached properties, Norton Road is within proximity of Oldswinford High Street, Stourbridge Junction train station, Stourbridge Golf Club, and Mary Stevens Park- a popular hotspot for Stourbridge residents. The current average value of a property on Norton Road is estimated to be £722,000, which has had a value change of £33,237, 6.85%, over the last 12 months, making it the tenth most expensive street to live on in Stourbridge. The latest sale was 60 Norton Road in October 2020. This property is a four-bedroom detached house, with a sale price of £636,000.
#9 Norton Close, Stourbridge
Norton Close in Stourbridge is located in Norton, just a road away from Norton Road. The average current value for a property on Norton Close is estimated to be £727,000, which has seen a value change of £43,894 over the past 12 months. The last sale was 10 Norton Close in June 2020; a detached property with a sale value of £640,000.
#8 Racecourse Lane
Racecourse Lane is a popular road in Stourbridge, and is also where Stourbridge Golf Club is located. It is estimated that the average value of a property on Racecourse Lane is £801,000. Racecourse Farm on Racecourse Lane sold for £1,500,000 in September 2019, whilst The Croft, Racecourse Lane, sold for £550,000 in March 2020.

The Coppice is located within the popular Hagley Village, Worcestershire, and is situated within proximity of Hagley Catholic School, and Haybridge High School, and Sixth Form.
